Greetings..
I am new to this site and I am hoping someone can share some advice on some performance upgrades to my truck. I will be pulling about 7000lbs of fishing boat and I would like to gain additional HP & torque but I would like to do it in steps as I am still sweating the truck payments. I have heard the Banks six-gun tuner and the speed loader bundle upgrade is a screemer.
How will any of these upgrades hose up my warranty? Are there any upgrades that either won't void the warrranty or ones that I can switch back and not get busted for? Is it worth the trouble or are the upgrades worth it?
Thanks for your help!

i have a Edge juice with attitude for the LLY i would like to sell due to a cancelled customer order.. it is brand new in the box, and i'll let it go pretty cheap. Email me if interested.. I also strongly recommend the TTS programs.

hoppyray, I'm in the same boat as you, looking for some additional hp/tq without having to upgrade exhaust, air filtration, etc., yet have something simple to remove when I need to take it to the dealer and not worry about the warranty.

I posted basically the same question and the Predator is what I'm zeroing in on. $399 from JK's site. It is a handheld unit that you can use to reprogram your PCM to increase hp/tq, from simple tow tunes to performance tunes. It stores your stock PCM program as well and can be used to clear codes. Hypertech is another brand that is handheld. If you are only going to bump hp/tq for towing all indications are you can do this with stock equipment. Best to read all you can on the DP and make your decision.

My wife drives this truck more than I do :o so I need something simple that she can operate if the need arises. I believe she can handle the Predator. Popping the hood and opening up the PCM and pulling wires is a different story. Just my .02 cents worth. Happy Holidays! JJ :)

Just empty the account and send the proceeds to Nick. You're finished.

hoppyray,

Give us a call and we will answer all your questions wether it's about the Edge or Predators van Aaken or Super Chips or whatever, we stock all the different products and deal with them everyday so we have had any questions you can think of asked a zillion times and usually have the answer you need.

As an example we would reccomend always reccomend gauges on any programmer or module that do not have it built in. Next depending on if you tow and how much weight if you do, you might need to look at exhaust and air intakes to keep the EGT's safe. Again we are here to make sure you get the performance you want, but safely.

We also have a GURANATEED pricing poloicy that will make sure you get the best prices out there. Unlike some that sell ONLY on price and have littel to no knowledge of the products we are there before and after the sale and still GUARANTEE the price. Let us know if we can help.
