Twistedtrik 12-05-2007, 05:51 PM Just bought my 1st diesel last week. It's an 06 4 door shortbox 4x4 Duramax LLY Allison 6 speed w/ manual option. Has an 8" lift, 36s on 20s. I have longed for a Dmax for years and this was my Xmas present from my wife ( I pay for it too, but you know ). I have to say these have to be some of the sickest stock trucks known to man. The 2 people I generally hang out with have a Dodge dually ( 06 Cummins ) and 05 Ford Dually King Ranch. Both have complete Banks setups, and while they pull hard and blow a ton of black smoke on 6, I think the Dmax will smoke them both with the same setup. 1 of them wants to get a Dmax after riding with me last night. Are those Mazzi Hulks with Toyo AT's? Looks like a good combo. I know what ya mean about the D'max's. I've been a Dodge Cummins guy for 7 years, and once I drove one of the LMM's, there was no comparison. Interior and ride has'em beat by a mile. I sold my '06 Ram 2500 on eBay. I got more for it on there than what anyone local could do/was willing to buy it for. I'd definitely look into going the eBay route. | ||
