Transfer case started leaking oil, and after 200 kms there was oil all over the tail gate and trailer. Went to the chev dealer,first thing they say is looks like injectors, and you better have prove off fuel filter changes because chev is getting sticky about lack off proper maintance. Well i had looked under the truck before taking it in and could see oil was leaking at back of tranny @ transfer case. So they look at it and say its a oil cooler line leaking up front. ):h
Only 160 $ canadian order the line , and mechanic goes to install, lines just sweeting, slight leak, but tranfer case is leaking, head mechanic looks and says its very likely the case is cracked at the pump, :eek: pulls it apart, and theres a hole. needs a new case , cannot be fixed, he said it is a design problem and this is not the first one.This case is so thin/ magnesium.
