Does anyone have the calculation that would give horsepower in reverse. I know what my duramax weighs. I also know the 1/8th mile times. I'm pretty sure there is a calculation giving horsepower based on weight and times but I havn't found it yet. It has been a few days since Physics class. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

You could get a rough estimate with your 1/8th mile trap, but 1/4 mile trap speed is a much better indicator. There are two many variables when dealing with 1/8 traps, because this is where all the shifting will occur. The launch can also have pretty big effect.
I don't know of any 1/8 mile calcs., but post up your times and weight, and maybe we can estimate what your 1/4 trap might have been then we can use that.

85+ mph 1/8 mile in a E.C.S.B 4x4 with a good launch/and shifts is around 550rwhp give or take 25ish just to give you a reference point.
