Looking for a 8" drop hitch. I have a 34' boat that weighs about 12000# when fully loaded and need a hitch that will be up to the task. I would like to have a 2.5"shank if at all possible do not really want to use the adapter. thanks in advance

i have an adjustable drop hitck that i believe is made by rapid hitch it is rated for i believe 10000 but i tow 14000 frequently and am having no problems when i bought it the guy told me that it was underrated hope and oh yea i think that 8 inches is the most drop. hope this helps
