Ok, so here we go for the Monday blues...

At a stop sign, turning left. Matted the go pedal, made my turn. As the trans went into 3rd gear, it slipped!! Power went down, trans then locked up the converter and took off like a raped ape again. Repeated 6 or 7 times, no change. After 8th time, gone. Later tonight - after sitting at work in the cold for a few hours, did it again. Had me really worried - no towing, no tuners, nothing...bone ass stock. Turned on 4x4...problem gone! None at all! So after work I decided to try and blow it up. Rolled down the windows and found my problem - cold rubber tires were breaking loose from 2nd to 3rd gear :eek::eek: and confusing my poor allison. looks like she got a workout for no reason. Oh well!! Thank god.

I was going to say...........sounds like you're driving it right. Now you just need to drift it, and time the hookup when you're coming out of the turn.

HAHA. Very nice, I figured I'd get someone all worked up if I could! I'm going to do a few more "time trials" to make sure everything's ok...but my god, that had me scared. When it was warm out, didn't have a problem. I am assuming it was because the crappy Duravises were warm enough to stick. Who knows? Seems like I should just keep doing my 0-60 runs until I need new tires, then I won't have the problem!

if tht happens again put it in th mode might help u out a bit. it makes it really fun in the rain )
