mpl897, you might want to clarify why it took you 15,000 miles to figure out your mpg's since most guys do that in the first 2 tanks. ):h Good for a laugh though!

I average 14-15mpg around town, 18-19mpg on the highway, 8-9mpg towing heavy 5ver. This is before I had the LLY reflashed yesterday. Appears the mpg's may be better, initial check was 22.84mpg highway at 65mph. Sounds too good to be true, I'll recheck again soon. Happy Holidays! JJ :)

Geez...y'all are doing a lot better that me with mileage. I get about 13 around the city, and 16-17 highway non-towing. I never run over 72 MPH and 2300 rpm because it seems like the mileage goes to hell after that!

I just installed a new down-pipe back 4" MagnaFlow last week, so I'll have to recheck and see if that helped.

I have a 2003 D/A combo dually crew cab 4x4 and I am getting around 15 to 17.5mpg and thats both city and hwy driving. I would like to say I am light on the foot, but Iam not. I normally drive 75 to 85 mph on the hwy and have been knowed to lay a little rubber from a stop light from time to time.

My numbers according to DIC (Never bothered to figure it out manually) are:
20+ highway at 55-60mph
17-18 highway at 70 mph
15-16 around tow
9-11+ highway depending on speed and terrain while pulling a heavy 5'er Toy Hauler loaded with Harleys

2001 Dually Crew Cab 16mpg empty and 12 loaded 96000 miles so far
2003 Dually Reg Cab 17mpg empty and 12 loaded 26ooo miles so far

I did get as low as 9 mpg pulling my 21000 lb gooseneck down south. I was running late and was pusing it pretty hard.

I have never seen any higher mpg than 17.

I average 15.5mpg daily driving. 11-12mpg towing. All over the place on freeway. If I can keep my foot out of it, I can get 19 but I am always pushing 70+

I'm getting about 13.5 MPG combo city and highway on an empty stock truck. Pretty bad.  My F350 CC with lift and 35" tires I traded in was getting 16.5+ with the 7.3L PSD with SuperChip.

I am feeling badly. Mine does 15 in city driving and 10-12 pulling heavy fiver in the summer.

I had a 2500hd d/a and got about 20 all the time, 12 pulling fiver. I miss that 20 mpg.

No mods, no chips, just stock truck for power.
