Does anyone know of a good alarm with a remote start for diesels (waits on glow plugs) that will interface with the existing keyless entry ? I found one that has a wiring harness that will plug into the factory keyless entry harness for ease of install but it doesn't go by the glow plugs. Any suggestions ?

Palm Valley, good to see someone else from NE FL on the site. Several of the guys that are really sound technically like the Astro start system. Then there are guys like me that stick to basic stuff. I had a Code Alarm remote start system installed by Circuit City at the Avenues. So far I'm pretty satisfied with it, though it needs adjusting as we speak. It has the ability to set delays for diesel or gasoline engines, I don't believe it interfaces with the glow plugs though. Not sure about the Astro start in that regard but it would be a big plus if it does.

BTW, have you found any truck options places in the area that know their stuff? JJ

JJ- Yeah I live around the Duval - St.Johns county line. The only thing I've had done by truck options is a Rhino liner and a UWS tool box put in, they did a good job on those. Other than that I haven't had any other experience with them or any other places.
