Ok this happened a month ago but I thought it was a freak accident but it happened again.

About a month ago I went in my truck turned the key and nothing no electricity at all no dome light either.

I was going to hop onto this site to ask what was going on and when I slammed the door the electricity came back and the dome light went on and everything was ok

check battery connections. Had the same problem a week ago.

Check battery connections, and pay special attention to the mystery spacer on the pass. battery. You may also want to check the large cable running up to the underhood fuse panel from the battery. I've seen those get corroded in the connector and cause the same problem you describe.
