Hey what forum ? I was looking into one of those jeep liberty diesels. I took a used one for a test drive and loved it but after doing some homework found that they are riddled with Transmission problems that even the stealer can't fix(not that that means much). Just curiuos.

Hi Matt (et al) - thanks for asking - I've been on an intense learning curve on Common Rail Diesel technology, which uses the Bosch inj pumps to build the 4500-23000psi rail pressures - the CP3 is used in the Dodge, GM, and Jeep systems - intensely interesting, particularly now that #2 son has one that I can play with - and am expected to fix!
Hadda get the Autoenginuity pcware for the OBD2\enhanced stuff, but well worth the >500buck price, considering the 6000buck DRB2 from DCX, which only reads the DCX stuff

My GMC and Dodge are intensely boring, as they do what is expected each time the ignition key is put thru it's paces, but I still pop over here and there and on the Dodge forums, daily - just not much input, as it's all been said before, and easily available if the SEARCH button is pressed, tnx to knkreb and TD
