i have an 05 crew cab and was looking at the dual downfiring box, holds 2 ten inch subwoofers. what subwoofers have yall been putting in here to make it slam, im a huge believer of rattling my heart and blowing out my ear drums. i was thinking of putting in alpine type r's in but im not sure if they'll fit, itd be close, any ideas???

If you want sound like that you'll have to put a box in the bed with port or blow-through. There's not enough room to create a ton of SPL. Or you could do like the guy in another thread that you'll find if you search: put a box on top of his seat.... /sarcasm

yes ive considered a box in the bed of the truck with an acordian boot connecting the two. however i just cant seem to want to cut the hell out of my truck just yet, only had it a few months and still many many payments to go on it. i have also been researching the idea of captains chairs in the rear with custom sub box built down the middle, however due to the lack of funds in my wallet....the subthump will be a good discreet way of doing this for now, and will be easily sold after im ready to upgrade. just need to figure out the best subwoofers for the box.

I run the subthump and get all the SPL you need . Hell I can move your hair ! I ran the Infinity perfect 10.1 and they rock. The Alpine type R work well in that box too.

I'm running their dual 10 box that sits behind the seats. Although the box is quality, it does not really fit as advertised. Once you install the subs, there is zero room for sub excursion. Overall, I'm not satisfied with their stuff.
