Took the truck to dealer where i bought it. Onstar didn't work at home but on the way to the dealer it worked. Dealers test showed everything okay. Think problem is that I live in a dead area and can't hit the satetlite unless I move a few blocks away to use Onstar. Other people in the area are hving he same experience. Guess thats just tough luck.
Also took the truck in to get a gease retainer bladder/ball joint on the upper left side replaced under warranty. Dealer say's I busted it from over greasing and I have to pay for ball joint replacement. He's got me because I do tend to put to much grease in the ball joints.
After getting home I got a call from anpother dealer where I took the truck in 2-3 weeks earlier for the klunk/klunk noise. They said my new steering shaft was in and bring truck in tuesday, if possible ,for replacement oof the shaft assembly. I just greased the old one and it works well but I'll go for the replacement while its available.
