: Quadzilla and what monitor??
BKDespain 12-02-2007, 05:23 PM I am going to run the quadzilla for the DPF crap, but I can't decide what would be the best monitor since "on the fly adjustable" is not possible. Edge, Bullydog, Quadzilla, Dashhawk, etc.. were the ones I was thinking about. Or would some stand alone gauges on the pillar be the way to go? Open for any suggestions! Thanks.
Joy22toyhaulerhauler 12-02-2007, 06:11 PM I was wondering this same question. I was thinking the commander. I think it has the most available parameters to look at. I think.
BKDespain 12-02-2007, 06:27 PM Edges new Insight looks really good as well.

haven't heard of that 1?
Joy22toyhaulerhauler 12-02-2007, 07:39 PM Just looked it up on the edge site. Wow price is right like the features and the looks. Can you monitor the fuel pressure with this one? I think with the quad stuff you can check fuel and rail pressure. Does the insight allow this? Think I might get this one when I get ready to lay down the $.
Good find!
BKDespain 12-02-2007, 08:52 PM It will monitor 100 paramaters so I would guess it would read fuel pressure. You can get it cheaper through Xtreme diesel, one of the vendors on here.
DSTRBD 12-03-2007, 06:23 PM The Insight monitors are not out yet, but should be available this week.
squaredaway2 12-04-2007, 08:46 AM 300 bucks........... sweet
So I can get the quad and have gauges like my old edge with juice. It even tells you when it regens the DPF.
The quad will fix the spedo on the dash and then Ill have gauges and set the alarms for 1350 exhaust level.
The only thing that would make this perfect is if you could still shift power levels on the fly.
I like the fact you can Install this monitor with probe in exhaust and you wont have to remove it for the dealer. It is not a power adder. Just gauges. Just remove the Quad program and your done.
1lowdiesel 12-04-2007, 09:01 AM those would deffinatley be my 2 top choices for gauges and for the money you won't find a better monitor. i had the outlook monitor and i found the the display is not only to small but it will only display 4 things all the time.

hit me up if you wanna pre order one and i give ya a little better deal on the quadzilla.
squaredaway2 12-04-2007, 09:26 AM I have an extra edge brand probe for the exhaust. Will it hook up to the insight.
I would guess it would hook up the same as the juice with attitude. Black box underhood with plugs for the motor.
1lowdiesel 12-04-2007, 09:48 AM i'll have to find out. i do know there is a plug at the end of the obd harness but i have to wait till they open to find out what kinda hook up it is.

X2. That is exactly what I'm looking for as well if it ever has to go to the Stealer. :)

of course
1lowdiesel 12-04-2007, 10:59 AM just so you guys know. i just found out from quadzilla that if you purchase one of their products for under their MAP (minimum advertised pricing) they will not honor their warranty on the product.

So now what? You have to up your price?
1lowdiesel 12-04-2007, 12:00 PM no sir. it's advertised pricing that breaks the policy. we are allowed a little flexability. that price i give is the lowest i can go w/o either violating policies or costing you a warranty.
BKDespain 12-04-2007, 12:08 PM 1Lowdiesel,
Are the Insights in stock yet? Also do you send the quadzilla's out with the DPF/EGR programing installed?
1lowdiesel 12-04-2007, 12:32 PM no the insight's are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. as for the quadzilla they come in sealed boxes so no we don't upload that tune. it's just as simple as jumping on their site and updating.
BKDespain 12-04-2007, 12:47 PM Thanks for the info. I will be ordering both soon! One more question, what about the mounting options for the 07.5 LMM Insight?
1lowdiesel 12-04-2007, 12:57 PM good deal man anytime.
ok here's the deal the plug for the egt probe is the same that's on the evolution it's a small 4 prong plug. so if you already have a probe for a juice w/a it won't work.
DSTRBD 12-04-2007, 04:11 PM Thanks for the info. I will be ordering both soon! One more question, what about the mounting options for the 07.5 LMM Insight?
Edge makes a mount just like the one used for the Evo units that mounts next to the steering wheel, under the A-pillar. It is either part number 13015 or 13016 depending on your dash.
PS: PLEASE get rid of the avatar. Its driving me NUTS!
