OK,
I have heard some bad, and some good.
What do the guys who run them think.
It will be on highway, offroad in snow and around town use.
The reason i am asking is because I am limited to a few specific tires due to my 20x11 rims.
I have been told to stay away from anything narrower than 13.5 tires due to rim width.
I am not interested in all terrains, and someting as open tread zero siping as baja claws are poor on ice, an have little lateral traction, meaning when the vehicle starts to slide sideways there is no tread running perendicular to sidewalls to slow the sideslide situation.
Thanks,
Lyle

I'm on my first set of MT MTZ's after 3 sets of GY Wrangler MT/R's. Had good experience w/the MT/R's and just wanted to try something new.
The MTZ's are quieter than the MT/R's. It hasn't rained since I put the MTZ's on 6 months ago so it's all been dry traction.
Can't answer your other questions as I'm just running 265/70/17.

i have run two sets i had 36/15.5/20 on my last truck had about 25000 miles on them when i sold the trcuk they still has over half tread. the other set is on our farm truck they are 305/70r16 they do not wear as well but still not bad will get about 40000 miles out of them as long as you stay away from the soft "traditonal" sizes as m/t calls them i think you will love them very quite and handle well even in the wider sizes

you can go 12.5 on those just be mindful of what you are rooling next too... you are more likly to hit the rim instead of jsut scrubing the tire

I've got 325/65-18 on my HD.
The MTZ's are LOUD on the interstate. I have 6 layers of Ramaat with 4 layers of Ensolite in the doors, and a double layer of both everywhere else in the truck. It is LOUD still.
Two tires replaced because they were out of round.
They handle damn good in the rain for a mud tire.
Don't expect to stop fast with them!
My next set will be a Toyo m/t for sure or the ATZ.

Compaired to a lot of other mud tires these are the quitest tires I've had by far. These are my second set, the last set got 49,000 out of them with a good rotation times.

I run 315-70-17 MTZ's and they are great, not too loud and handle great. They are on my K5 but have not run them on the Dmax, just purchased some KMC monsters and will most likly get some in a 325 for the dmax so will let you know. God bless

Same here, I had MT/Rs on my old gasser and they were great tires. I have the MTZ's now in a 33 and they do great in the rain, sand, and on dry roads. I have about 6k on them and not hardly any wear on them. They humm but not bad. My MT/Rs had a lower and louder humm that made it difficult to talk on the phone sometimes...don't have a problem with these.
