Engine makes an howeling sound when cold. Sounld comes when pushing down in the gas peddle. Goes away when engine is warmed up.

MIght it be the fan? My fan seems to stick once and a while when its cold. It either goes away when warm, or when I take it over 2200 rpms?

Is it pretty loud?

Sounds like the fan to me to! Mine does that when cold for the first quarter mile or so of driving.

My dog does the same thing, hot or cold, when the fire dept. or cops go by blowing there siren. I'm sorry I just can't help myself.

That's your engine.......if you listen carefully you'll see it's actually saying something, "Owwwwwww, please warm me up longer...........I'm not a gasser...........oh that hurts.............I need to get my blood pumping...........and my fan clutch needs to warm up............ohhh please let me warm up more".
