Is there room to run a downpipe between the engine and frame on a K series with the 6.5 turbo stuff added? Grape, how are you going to route your downpipe?

More room on a k3500 than a k1500. I can easily fit a 3" and imagine I could get a 4" to work on a good day.

I had to cut the crap out of my frame to fit a 4" in there, the next problem is the driveshaft on my old bodystyle truck is on the same side, so I get to make a crossover pipe from scratch also. I'll take some pictures tonight, I have the body on the lift, I keep lowering it and raising it to check clearance. The transmission has to be cut also to clear the crossover, the 4l80 that came with my mock up engine had a section on the bellhousing by the starter cut off from the factory for this purpose. My exhaust should be all tacked up this weekend, then i get to put the chassis up on my chassis fixture and tug and pull and weld some supports in where I cut on it.
