Whenever I go over a speed bump ohit a sudden object where my rear suspension needs to soak up a bump I get this click noise in the back of my truck. I don't know what it is. I checked everything out and nothing seems to be loose. Whats going on? Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it?

Either the little plastic spacer that is between the leafs fell out or is there a hitch in the reciever.

Look at your leaf springs, there are four holes where plastic/rubber pads are supposed to be that take away leaf spring smack. One or two are probably missing. 9 or 10 bucks at the dealer. I believe mine were $8.48.

Its not the differential I don't think. I don't have my reciever hitch in when it does it and I just put yellow Bilsteins on at about 80,000 miles and I'm at 104,000 right now.

Thanks guys! It was the rear little pads. I was missing 3/4 of 'em. Cost $5.40 a piece to replace at the local Chevy dealer. I feel better now.

I am going to have to look at this. Mine clicks/clanks when I jump up and down in the bed. I thought it was a shock. No sense in buying new plastic thingies if they are just going to disappear again though!
