Never changed one but I would think WD-40 would go a long way towards making it an easier job.

The only other thing I can think of is heating the nuts. Beyond that, I would break the studs, remove the manifolds (a real PITA) and drill and tap for new studs.

Good Luck.

When i did mine, i sprayed them down several times a day for about 3 days. The started it up and let the manifolds get warm to the touch where i just could touch them, but not hot enough to burn the fingers. They came off pretty easy then. Good luck.

mine had 230,000 miles on it and had problems breaking loose..someone on here told me to..spray with pb buster let it sit for about 30 min. then drive the truck for about 30 to heat up bolts..let it sit for about 30 to cooll a bit and they all broke loose with ease...it worked for me
