anyone using BD exhaust brake with 4" exhaust and getting a bad whistling when brake is turned on, at about 2000rpm, manual said to adjust v-clamp but not how?

Try loosening the clamp on the downpipe coming from the turbo. Then reposition it and the downpipe making sure it is centered. I run across an exhaust system which I have had problems with, and am going to try to fix it next week. I've installed several BD exhaust brakes on Duramaxs and this is the only one I have had a problem with so far. This was with an exhaust system I have just started selling & the first one of this brand I've used on a Duramax. tpitt


Its 11mm or 7/16 nut. Either one will work. I usually use a gearwrench.
