Has anyone limped the Alli in the 85 hp tune? My tranny is still stock.

Mine seems to hold it but you will be really close to limping. The 100hp limps VERY easy,

You can probably do the 100HP if you don't keep it floored through the 4-5. 0-60. But don't do it often. IMO, it's a "hotter" tune than the current 120HP tunes. Acts like about 140HP in the 1/4 mi.

Well I am a happy camper. Yesterday I installed the unit, only at the 60 hp and I am very pleased. I really cannot believe the difference. I had a couple of hard shifts early on but now it is shifting sweet. What I cannot believe is the difference in the mpg. I went from 16 to 23. I sure hope it stays that way. I also add the afe stage 2 kit but the tube does not fit on the lly the way it should. Called them and they are sending another on friday. I really like my truck now. ):h ):h ):h

What supplier did you buy your stuff from? How do you like the intake? Does it make the turbo louder?

Are you hand calculating the mileage or going by the DIC? You might have to try hand calculating because the programmer throws off the DIC. If the DIC was right, I would have been getting 25-28 mpg. I was only getting around 18-20. Winter sucks, I am now only getting about 12mpg with a lot of idling and 4 wheel drive. I did get 21 mpg unloaded on a 1200 mile round trip highway.

Anyone have a dyno curve for a LLY with the Predator installed in 60 or 80HP mode. Thanx Geo.

pk911,

Bet they sent you a LB7 intake tube, it won't fit at all!! The correct intake part number is 75-10612, odds you got a 75-10122 it's for the LB7's. We have sold a lot of the 75-10612's and not ahd any fit issues so the odds are you got an LB7 tube etc.

I am in so florida, fort lauderdale and used pmtdiesel. Marvin is the guy to talk to and knows his stuff. I did alot of homework before settling with him. The tube sucks right now. I cannot make it fit where it does not rub on the bosch unit, that is just unacceptable. Afe is supposed to be looking into it to correct the problem. If not, the tube goes back and I get my money back. The filter is fine and I do not hear any additional noise at all.
