Is there a way to activate a switch at WOT from inside the engine compartment?

I could be wrong, but there isn't a WOT signal or wire, per se, coming from the pedal or floating around under the hood. You could make a simple circuit to detect it though. The pedal position info goes straight to the ECM.

If you want to avoid electronics, you will have to mount a switch to get activated by the go pedal. I suppose you could intercept the throttle position signal from the pedal, send it to a comparator and have that trigger a relay. This could be adjustable for finetuning.

I just bought parts at radio shack (about $15) and soldered up a little adjustable circuit that looks at the TPS signal, and will turn on or off (depending on terminal to relay) a circuit. I use i for nitrous activation.
