(I have a 2001)So I switched out just the bezel around dash, and now I can't get to my cig lighters or ashtray, and I had to lower ac controls 1/2" or so to line up with new style off of 2005. AC controls work great now, I installed a double din unit (was only din and a half in 01), and I also realized that the 2005 console hugs under dash, but my 2001 console is lower in the dash department.

Also my new console has BOSE speaker and I think amp? haven't really looked for it. Can I hook that amp up to my aftermarket headunit for added subs? I already have 3 10's behind the back seat. Anyone done this yet????

just put an 05 console in they fit fine. I'm in the process of doing the same thing with the dash. So that piece snapped right in? Can you tell me the steps you did or take a pic? What about the double din did that fo right in or did you have to mess with stuff inside the dash?

oh man! I don't have a pic, and my stereo mount is not legit but hangin in there ok. Its more like a strong jerry rig, but alot of these mods are. BUt I had to take old bezel off, and then remove ac/ heat controls, cut the bracket up a lil bit for ac/heat controls and lower about 1/2" to 3/4" or so... Then the outer shell snapped on, but then ash tray and cig lighters are not accessable anyomre, for the new bezel hangs lower now, but I guess we'll have to cut or unbolt that whole ashtray are out of dash to fit taller/ newer console... I'll be doing this transition tomorrow with new seats as well, so ask me again tomorrow night if interested, cuz I'll forget and I'll let you know details....
