TLTBOWEN 12-16-2004, 02:31 PM Hey guys I just got a new 3500 4x4 for work. The truck has a 8' box on it. The truck came with the power extending mirrors but I can't see around the box. What are the widest mirrors that I can get. I don't really want to put west coast style on unless I just have to. Keep in mined if this were a trailer I would be able to see o.k I think the problem lise in the distance from the mirror to the box. I ahve an 11' utility body. I'm finding that turbulence caused by the box sticking past the body line causes what I consider excessive mirror glass vibration. I have a feeling I'm going to be drilling the door skin and putting on some west coasts. I found some heated, lighted ones that may do just the trick... Ty | ||
