replaced pmd 1month ago. drove vehicle 750 miles nonstop. now truck will crank and idle fine. but when i mash the throttle it cuts off. could this much continous heat zap a new pmd?

Where is it mounted, still on the pump? When you say it cuts of, does it completely die or jerk? Sounds more like a fuel delivery problem. Go though the Diagnastic checklist and see if you/we can rule out/confirm a few things. If the PMD is still on the pump I would definitely relocate it out of the engine bay. Heath has a good kit.

could be the lift pump starting to go. well cause i have a similar problem. once in awhile if i nail the gas coming out of a turn my truck will stall out but start up again in a couple min. its only happend a few times. but i called and talked to a guy at heath diesel and he had me do a couple simple tests and he said it was hard to tell [in my particular situation] but it seemed like the lift pump might be starting to go out. just a thought. i would call up heath and ask them about the RPM testing. [where you hold the rpms at a certain level]
good luck
