Any other options for a taller tire out there? Other than 255/85 I mean? I went from 225/75 to 235/85, looked okay at first but I crave more. I know I'll need spacers for the duals, but the biggest problem is my 97 rims are only 16x6. 255s aren't even recommended, but I was going to do it anyway. But I've become pretty frustrated trying to find 255/85s, they just aren't that popular and kind of hard to find. Not that I haven't found them, but not enough to make them competitive. I need to save as much as I can because after all there are 6 of them.
Was just wondering if anything else would do, maybe a flotation size or something I haven't thought of yet.
Would replacing the rims with something a little wider open up new options?
Seems like 285s are everywhere cheap. Can't say as I'd dare run them on my wheels though.

You are limited with those narrow wheels. 255's are way to wide for them. You could change rims to wider ones, but then you will need spacers and then you could run into fender issuse on the back. I have seen people put a 19.5 fat single tire on the back and eliminate duals.
For stock rims, 235's are about as wide as you would want to go.
