LB7 heaven 11-28-2007, 09:06 PM When looking in the engine compartment the top tranny fluid line (closest tranny fluid line to the hood next to air filter) is leaking at the fitting. The large metal part of the fitting is tight. The fluid seems to be coming from between the metal nut and the plastic "washer". Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated!! varty yo 11-30-2007, 08:18 PM common problem. mine was fixed for about a year and is now leakin again. i posted pics last year in another thread. 70runR 12-01-2007, 05:18 PM '06 LBZ with the Allison, parked on cement this week (normally park on gravel driveway) and my wife noticed red fluid dripping. Upon inspection, the crimped fittings where the hard lines connect to the flexible hoses by the radiator are leaking. BOTH LINES ALL 4 FITTINGS! Obviously defective hoses right? Well, it seems that I'm just out of warranty with 41,000 miles and the dealer said I will have to pay even though they said "yes, I know just what you mean. We did another one just last week". Truck has been great other than this, it does appear that the right rear axle seal is leaking too, just like my '02 did before it. Wheres it leaking from? jetboatjockey 12-02-2007, 04:38 PM leaking at the metal & hose connection, found many threads under leaking hose etc. 06 lbz had a lot of them, sounds like a back order thing. i was to go on a fishing trip way far away from any help and was concerned about getting stranded. sounds like not a big deal, probably not much pressure there.
