Has anyone tried to mount a 34 gal tank where the 26 gal tank is?

Crawl under and have a look...just ahead of the tank you'll see a nice round crossmember going from one side to the other. There is ABSOLUTELY no way. The cross member, mounting points, differential clearance and general shape is wrong. If it was possible, I would have done it instead of paying $250 for a smaller tank. It is however possible to add another 15 gallons under a crew cab.
