I was just wondering if anyone has tried the V2 logging update? I just did and had problems with it so I am waiting on another update which "should" be out in the next couple of days. Right now I cant even use pass through mode so I am dead in the water.

thats one blunt spear :)
Thanks for the kind words. I am a little dissapointed with efi at this point. I was going to wait untill I heard the news on it but figured what the hay.
I hope to get it back up and running with the next update, after that I am finished with efi's "updates" until they start showing some real improvement....Rant OFF.

I had planed on it, but I have some tuning I need to make sure I can do at the end of the week, so I'm waiting till I have that done and can afford to work with any problems or delays that might come up with beta testing. ;)
Sounds like Paul is on top of things though. :)

Let me get this straight, you read this warning posted on EFILive's website before the download.
"Upgrading to V2.5.04 is a one-way process, once you upgrade you cannot go back. Becaue this is a beta release, we strongly recommend that commercial customers who rely on FlashScan for their day-to-day tuning needs DO NOT upgrade to this first release as problems may exist that have not been discovered (yet)."
You went for the Beta release anyway, have problems, and your disappointed with EFILive?
I'm truley am sorry you unit doesn't work right now, but is this fair?

no probably not. I did read the warning and loaded a tune i can use daily whether I tow or or not and it gets good mileage so I am fine without tuning for a while. I usually dont voice my opinion about this stuff and for the most part I am very happy with EFILive it is a great tuning tool. I am just a little frustrated with having people tell me release dates and then not meeting them.
I have been doing the same thing with my gunsmith lately he is about 2 months past due as well. Sorry I am just a little frustrated. oh well my problem I guess.
This would be why I dont voice my opinion much.

Please don't stop voicing your opinion. It is valued here by myself and many others. I didn't mean to offend.
In fact this is a very good thread to show people the hazards that come along with running "Beta" releases. I'm glad you started it.
I'm sure EFILive will have a fix very soon as I see many "testers" are having trouble with this same issue.

This topic is a good topic and should be discussed. It was made very clear that upgrading is a one way process. Development takes a LOT of time, heck it's taken 12 months to get this far. Updates in BETA will take "days" to get to release.
We are thankful for your input, and thankful that we didn't release when we thought we would - your disappointed today but imagine the consequences of us releasing a product to prevent missing a deadline without the last 9 months of development.....
Cheers

:bawl:
Just kidding :D
I did not take the leap of faith on this one. Mainly because I am seeing if I can get some P12 PCM files and need the V2 to work
