also i have a few questions as this is my first diesel. how long should you let them warm up in the winter?? or in the summer?? is it best to plug them in even if it isnt that cold( only in winter i mean)?? how often should the oil be changed? when starting it should i turn the key on and warm the glow plugs a few times before i start it up? any info would be great, ;et me know if you think thats a good deal also thanks

Geez, if you don't buy it I want it!

Sounds like a really good deal.

Since this is a non-turbo charged engine, you don't have to let it idle quite as long as you should for a turbo-charged one. When its cold out, just let the truck idle until the idle smooths and the smoke is pretty much gone and don't push it real hard the first few blocks atleast. By cold out, I mean really really cold, if its above freezing, don't worry about it too much, and forget the block heater above freezing too. As far as repeating the glow cycle, that really depends on what plugs are in it, and what shape the engine overall is in. If the truck starts right away with one cycle, then thats all you need. Oil change interval is generally 3-5000 for regular oil, 5-7000+ for synthetic, either will work fine in this engine, so long as the oil is 15-40 and rated for Diesel engines.

700r4 and I assume 3.42 rearend, if the engine is running properly you should be in the lower 20s I'd expect.

it has a 3:73 rear, but the tires will throw that off. as for -30temp will a in line water pump heater , the ones you put in the heater line work?? they heat and circulate the water. what do you think?
