: TTT mirrors pics?

Does anyone have any pictures of their TTT mirrors installed on their trucks? I've concluded that my factory towing mirrors suck and am looking at other options.

Also, does anyone know if GM makes a convex mirror that would totally replace the glass in the passenger side mirror? That would be the perfect solution to my problem.

This is the best I have for now. Took this one with chrome and black covers. Decided to go with the black. John Kennedy should have some in stock.

Those pics look nice thanks guys!

Do you find that the visibility is better on the passenger side from the stock camper mirrors? That's my main concern because even with the little stick on convex mirror I have a huge blind spot on the side of my truck.

I got mine from www.wjsperformance.com (http://www.wjsperformance.com/) for $490 plus $20 for the wiring harness for my 03.(forgot to add that's for the lighted, heated, electric model, the manual non lighted are cheaper. But I would reccomend the electric it makes life easier) He's got good prices on Putco part's too.
They went on no problem just a little wiring to do for the lighted part.
Worst part was cutting the vent shade because the new mirrors have a bigger mounting area (plastic wise) than the old non camping mirrors I had.

WAskier,
The pass side is much better to see now. The convex part help's a lot.
I had to get used to the new mirror's at first but now I like them.
And when I pull my 8 1/2 wide trailer I just pull the mirrors out to full extend and I can see around the trailer no problem. :)

Note: The convex mirror part is not electric. But the pass side dosen't need to be moved and the driver's side is easy enuf to adjust when you extend the mirrors

Any GM's out there with these mirrors?

Dieseldragon - cool so the convex part is adjustable too. That'll be nice to have seperate adjustment over that from the rest of the mirror.

I tow four different trailers with my TTT . No blind spot on either side, I just heated up my vent shades and molded them with no cutting.

I'm looking to buy a set of these for my truck also. Did you get this deal from Kennedy Diesel or somewhere else? Also, if you don't mind, how good was the deal? I'm looking for the electric/heat/lights model 1020 with multiplex kit 1090, so your deal may not apply to my deal. Any info would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, I have no pic's to share, but I have to say how much I really love these TTT mirrors. I pull a 36' RV Toy Hauler with 2 Harleys in the back and I've been all over the country with it. You can see to the rear and all along the sides. When the image goes out of one mirror, you pick it up in the other. You can watch the traffic come all the way up until the it's is right alongside and you can see it out of the side windows. Mine have power glass, heat, directionals and running lights. Just a terrific product!

There was a set on jpcustoms site in the garage sale section, but they did not have the heat/lights, etc. so I passed on them. I would also like to find a "deal" on the complete mirror package with lights/heat and harness also.

Did you call Wade direct at WJ's and talk to him?
He should still be having a sale on the diffrent model's of mirrors I think.
It's worth the $70 saving's on the mirrors and harness and they shipped quick

Do you guys think that these mirrors will get out past a 8'+ box sitting on the back of a 3500. The current Power exenders are about 2" short of what I need.

The mirror's extend out another 4" or so on both side's
All the pictures posted so far are with the mirror's retracted.
I have no problem seeing around my Dually fenders and my 8 1/2 foot wide car trailer now.

Well the deal that I was talking about is the one that JP customs had on their site. I called them up and they told me that the mirrors have the running lights, turn signal, power glass, and the heated glass so I picked them up for $250. If they aren't what they told me then they'll probably be going back but I asked twice and got the same answer. Sorry they only had the one set guys.

Well, I am glad that you got the deal and hopefully they are the correct mirrors.

Not what I was told when I called. "Just like in the picture" and from the picture I saw, it did not look like they had the lights, etc.

jpcustoms going on my "do not do business with" list!! -:t

Yup, they sure will. About 75-80% of the passenger side main mirror is useful on my truck - 3500, 11' utility. The truck came as a c&c with the powervision (factory power extend) tow mirrors. Only about an inch or two of the mirror was usable.

I get some glass vibration, I think from turbulence caused by the box. Not excessive, but a little annoying, especially on BuMpY roads. I figure if it gets on my nerves too much, I'll drill the door and put on some heated/lighted west coasts... I don't think that'll be necessary though.

I have a set of these for my truck. They extend out so wide, I tend to dodge oncoming traffic and road signs with them extended.

Check out these postings for more info on these mirrors:

http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6624&page=1&pp=10

These mirrors are over 8 feet wide without any extension. They are really wide when extended all the way.

Not yet, they should have showed up at my house today but since I'm out skiing for the week in canada I won't be installing them anytime soon. I'll post some pics when i get them on my truck! :D
