Just ordered a Deep Blue Metallic Chevy 2500HD, 4x4, LMM CrewCab. Order to be placed on Tuesday by dealer. I believe the factories usually shut down for a while around Christmas, first of the year. Am I correct? If so, guess it'll be late January or early Feb. before my truck gets here. BTW, it an LTZ, loaded, only option not gotten, roof rack, which I couldn't get anyways because of the sunroof:D! I want it now, this is going to be a long wait and it's just beginning. Chris

I just realized I didn't quote a price. MSRP for this truck was 54,XXX. Dealer marked down to $48,329, negotiated some, deal made out the door, tax, title, reg, to be at 49,125 That was a little below my Supplier Discount cost, plus I have $1500 from my GM Card, we did not figure in any cash back options, since it won't be here until the end of January and things change. Also, didn't figure in a trade, which will be $4500 for a 97 4Runner with 154K miles. So final price will be around $43-44K. All that matters at this point is that I can't wait to finally be a DMax owner!:D Chris

Congrats bro! I ordered exact same truck/color in LT2 but fully loaded like Oct 29, my TPW is 12-10-07.

Well, just informed by the dealer that there is a nationwide restraint on Metallic colors. He called GM, no idea of when the restriction will be removed. Only White, Black, Red, can be ordered right now.
There are currently almost 700 trucks being stalled due to no metallic paints. SOOOO, dealer found one on a lot, being sent as I type to my dealer, similar to what I ordered, but no Navigation or roof markers. Really wanted Nav, but I guess I can get the color I want and add Nav. and lights. At least I'm getting it soon!!! Chris

I had the same problem on the paint, but the order finally went through and the truck is being built today! I ordered a 2008 GMC Sierra SLT CC with every option Stealth Gray. I ordered the truck on Sep 21, and due to the paint restraint the truck is just now getting built. From my understanding, you can still order the color but you will probably be adding about 4-6 weeks total time to when you would receive your truck. Good luck with it.

I posted a question in the electrical section, if I can add a navigation unit and still have the RSE (rear seat entertainment) work, I'll just do that. I can add the lights myself, done it many times. I don't want to wait any more! :D Chris
