I have a Uniden CB radio and Radio Shack trunk tracker scanner I would like to install permantly. Any suggestions on where to tap the power into? Also what is the easiest way to cut the plastic dash in order for everthing to fit sorta OEM. Does any of this make sense? Oh another "stupid' question..where is a good place to feed the coaxial cable into the cab of the truck? Thanks.

Do a search on cb and you will get plenty. May not be easy but should look good

Alrighty, From the top:
Easy place to mount CB's: It depends on the CB. If you are running a Cobra 148NWST or something the size of a Galaxy, you are somewhat limited. The smaller CB's you can buy have multiple mounting options. Small ones can fit in the center console slots, upper compartment you have on the ceiling.
Right now I have my CB screwed to the dash on the left hand side about where your knee would bang into the dash if you slid the seat all the way forward. My scanner is velcroed to the dash underneath where the cigarette ashtray is on the bench seat models. I am getting a police/fire/ems style radio mounting system that will mount on the transmission hump to hold both the CB, Scanner, and my VHF once I get around to getting one. VHF seems to be used more up north than CB's do.
