Are we talking Digital vs. Analog Sweeping Gauge?

or a Mechanical temp vs. Electric temp.?

If first option Digital looks great but analog will be more like existing

If Second option Mechanical requires tubing a capillary tube all the way to the gauge. While the Electric will require a 12v connection and the two wires coming from the RTD to the gauge. I just installed an electric and it was a really simply install. Plus i don't know for sure but I'd imagine that the electric would be a little faster responding, and if you kink a capillary tube during installation it could be pretty problematic.

Oh and Electric is Analog just to clarify.

i didn't really look at the differences between the 2, one is a full sweep from 100-260 and the other is a half sweep from 100-250

For the trans use the electric one.

I would use electric for all temps. They are easy to install and i find them accurate and responsive. After all day in and day out in the oilfield i see electric temperature sensors and pretty much never, other than a Barton recorder, seen mechanical gauges.
