Hey guys wanted to ask a question have the factory tires on my 04 hd 4x4 and was wondering if these tires are load rated?
I also would like to know what size tires will fit on the factory rims, I would like to go larger but not huge! Just enough to fill the wheel out some and not affect quality ride?

Some are running 265s and other are going with 285's. Both will fit nicely on the stock rim and will not affect the ride to much. You might want to consider changing the shocks out when you change tires. The stock shocks are horrible...

you can always consider a 255/85/16 which fills the wheel well quite nice as well

Will these effect towing or load ratings?

I just put on the new Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's 265's. The tread looks awesome and they ride great and when they are clean they look good to. They have also been rated better then the Michelin LTX's... I have mine with the black letters out. About $179 each at Costco, that was when i was in Alaska, here in California, I don't know where to go.

Ive heard good things on the Revo's do they change speedo readings enough to worry about with the 265's?

Before I picked my '05 2500 up from the dealer, i had them replace the 245's with Toyo (Les Schwab) 265/10ply. Even the fleet rep and managers thought the truck looked better with 265's. No problem with clearance and an overall better ride. They also have a much better load capacity from teh 245s. The 245s have a load cap of ~3065lbs vs the 265/10ply of ~3600 (if i recall right). The Toyo's don't squish under load like the Bridgestone or Firebombs.

I recently switched to 265 Michelin X Radial LT's Load Range E (Sam's Club version of the LTX). I love the ride, they are very quiet, fit nicely on the stock rims, and do some pretty amazing things in the snow, considering their non-aggressive tread pattern.:D
