: Battery Terminals?

I want to put a commercial quality jumper cable set up on my truck for jumping cold heavy equipment. You know the jumper cable connection hanging out the grill of tow trucks and service trucks... It looks like there would be a clean way to use the oem battery posts. There is a small indented circle that looks like it would accept some type of clip or connector on the oem posts. Maybe its just so jumper cables have a place to grip? Is there a nice way to place another 2 gauge cable on the oem batery post with a professional type connector? I hate to mess up the nice look of the caps that cover the original battery terminals with a big stack of crimp end connectors.

I bought my cables through Northern Tool for $75, mounted them to the Battery Jump location and to grounded to the engine. I have never had a problem for power and this is also where the Plow gets its power from too and i have never had a problem with that either. Looks cleaner and you dont have to mess with the battery terminals themselves.

X2. Take the bolt off the + lug on the jumper connection and hook up there. No need to mess with the wacky side-post terminals.
