Does anyone have any close-up pics of their 2" wheel spacers, particularly of the I.D. and the outer "lip"? My brother owns a machine shop and we are going to do a little DIY.

TIA,
Gary

I set up and program CNC machining centers, boring mills, and lathes. I was going to make my own but realized that with the time involved, it would be cheaper to order them from Fred. I wish I had stopped and taken a few pictures of mine when I got them, but I was in a hurry to get them on and didn't think about it.

Good luck with your project!

A member posted pics of his install. I saved them, but instead of reposting them here on the board, you can see them here: http://floridadieselclub.com/Spacers/

So this is bad... Too close together? What size tires are these?

And this is good... Seems like an awfull lot of space between the tires...??? Looks goofy...

STPETEBLUE (Todd),

Thanks for the pics. That helps ALOT!! Now I need to finish measuring for the 2-step cut on the I.D. and figure out the outer lip and stud hole depth/size/seat angle. I see they used "regular" 14mmx1.5 lug nuts (no washers). I thought I saw some other brand of these spacers that used the same nuts (washered) that come on the truck?? I also need to find and purchase the studs so we know what size to drill the holes.

lordaries,

Same thing here too. Just red X's. No pics..............

Mark the Shark,

I plan on doing these "after hours". I'm kind of a "hobby" machinist.:D

The answer is YES!!

Unless you are only going about 30 miles down the road, don't plan on going over about 40 MPH, and don't plan on getting off the paved road.

I can see the pics fine on both my home and work PC... maybe you have virus software or a firewall program blocking them... They are the pics from the link the other guy posted.
