: Floor Mat or Tray Rec?
AYR TIME 12-14-2004, 11:54 AM Looking for front floor mat or tray recommendation for my 03 HD2500 Sierra Dmax EC SB. Deep trays that would hold the dirt and melted snow water and that could be dumped without spilling on the carpet are preferred. The trays on my 90 Volvo (430k kms) have been wonderful. Any experience with Husky Floor Liners? http://www.autosportcatalog.com/index.cfm?fa=p&pid=914&sc=7542
Thanks, Richard
BudTX 12-14-2004, 12:06 PM I have a set of the Husky Floor Liners front and rear in my Crew Cab. They catch everything, and seem to be very durable.
Duratys 12-14-2004, 03:28 PM have used husky liners in last 3 trucks owned, little hard on wallet(for floor mats) but work good at holding lots o fluid. carpet is like new when you pull em out. will keep using them untill i find something better
Triffid 12-14-2004, 04:36 PM I agree with the other guys on the Husky liners... They have worked very well!!... See my Truck Pics below.........Triffid

luvthesmellofdiesel 12-14-2004, 05:12 PM I just bought some of those big black (I think they come in tan and clear as well) rubber mats from Wally-world which are cheap, look good, and hold the crap quite nicely.

Kennedy 12-14-2004, 05:26 PM I've had Husky liners in my last 3 trucks. Liked them so much I started selling them...
AYR TIME 12-14-2004, 07:14 PM Thanks for all the responses. And all positive! Looks like Husky it is for about $110 Cdn. I have never regretted paying a similar amount for the 4 trays in my 90 Volvo wagon. Carpet is like new and no rust at 430k kms! All the best of the season! Richard
DMAXYUKON 12-14-2004, 09:27 PM Has anyone tried the "catch-all" carpeted ones?
blnagel 12-14-2004, 10:21 PM Nope. I have always liked the other forms better. But what ever flips your fancy.

Max Power 12-14-2004, 10:27 PM I just put them in my truck. So far I like them. The huskys are good at doing their job but I don't care for the looks. The catch-all's are a perfect match but they are close enough. They do a really good job of keeping the floor clean. I put my OEM rubber floor mats over the catch all's to keep the dirt from getting ground into the carpet.
They also are full length in that back do you don't have to worry about that center seat. They do the job for me. If I was in and out with muddy feet all the time I think I would go with the huskys. All in all the catch all does the job I want and looks a bit better to me.
Has anyone tried the "catch-all" carpeted ones?
ZR1160 12-15-2004, 07:46 AM Had the catch alls in my last truck, with in a year my heel had wore a hole clean through! Had a piece of Alumimum diamond plate layin around, so I glue it over the hole, no more wear!:ro)
haneym 12-15-2004, 01:30 PM i got the huskys for my truck and love em. buddy of mine has a brand new 4 runner and he got the catch all ones, theyre much more flimsy than my huskys.
Misled 03-14-2005, 10:21 PM First of many questions for you guys!!!!!!!
Does anyone know an aftermarket and/or GM part number for a complete vinyl or rubber floor? I just bought an 05 crew cab with the LS package, but would prefer not to have the carpet.
Thanks a bunch!!!

try www.accmats.com. i put one of their rubber floors in my old truck (89 k1500) and loved it. not sure if they have the new styles out yet, but you can check it out. it was around $100 for the floor of my regular cab.
