If you do a search for Aeroturbine there has been several threads in the past that explain. You may also want to check Magnaflow, as they were working on a 3.5 inch OEM replace flow through muffler. I am not sure if they have finished it yet.

If you're getting Aeroturbine make sure its the "Resonated Series". You will absolutely hate the non-resonated unless you love drone. Just my opinion from experience, it was cool on short trips, but when I took it for a 200 mile trip the day after I put it on it was insane cruising 65-70 mph. It had a nice big block sounding rumble with the Aeroturbine, but the faster you go the louder it continues to get. I returned it and stayed stock till I found a great deal on a MBRP cat back.

I had the 3535 on my truck. I think the 3535XL would be alright, but I was kind of pissed because I asked the company which would be better (sound wise) for towing and the recommended the 3535 because I had a cat. I was so mad I didn't try the 3535XL. I can speak to some of their claims, not sure about power because exhaust never really gives you a seat of the pants difference, but I did pick up around 1 mpg for the 3 weeks or so I had it on the truck. You may want to look at DieselManor a vendor on here for purchasing, they have better prices than buying direct.

teampsycho: Do you still have the stock system except for the muffler? Did you keep the CC in place and just replace the muffler? As far as loudness goes, compare it to stock. Thanks in advance, and keep us posted on the results!

All I've done so far is just the muffler, we can't do much with the D.O.T. watching us, so far I love it more power and quieter than stock except when your next to a railing on a bridge and you here a soft drone, But you have to listen real hard for it. I will report MPG's as soon as I can keep my foot from dropping, doing a 450 mile round trip monday loaded one way with 4500# tote, gonna fill up and see what I average on this trip been about 16.2 loaded/unloaded average if I pick yup 1.5 like they say I'll be happy. Very easy to install

Hey teampsycho, nice report on the aeroturbine.Do you need any extra bends when installing the muffler to utilize the stock tailpipe or does it really just replace the muffler.Went on aeroturbines website and they didnt specify if it was truck specific.
