I came across these while looking for a set of H2 takeoffs for winter...I thought they were kind of neat...good price too if they are really forged.

Ya know, I was just about to snag them up and I started thinking. I went to this 'Forge-Tec' website and looked around. If I recall right, the OEM Hummer wheels won't work on our trucks with the Hummer caps, right? The H2 doesn't have the protruding hub on the rear axle like our trucks, right? Well, look at the center caps on these wheels, they are almost flush with the rim itself, no clearance for the rear hub of our trucks at all. I guess you could pop them out, but don't some guys have to bore out the center hole on the H2 wheels to fit on our trucks or am I wrong? Just my observations, I really started to like them.:(

i know kmc does hummer version caps and 8lug truck style caps.

ask him if they do the same.

Not my thing but if I drove my truck in the winter....which I dont, 20 bucks would put them on my truck for sure. Its only for the winter, no one will ever know ;)

At first I thought they looked like a die for feed pellets, but I like the Sink Strainer description. For $400 for 18's and some paint, they might make some decent winter rims.
