: Does anybody like these?
bagofdimes 11-23-2007, 08:37 PM I came across these while looking for a set of H2 takeoffs for winter...I thought they were kind of neat...good price too if they are really forged.

ABQFirefighter 11-23-2007, 11:04 PM I like them.
StompinRound 11-23-2007, 11:25 PM well, they seem nice, not my style though
I agree they look like thy came off a pimped out caprice
it doesn't matter what wee think though
do YOU like them!
ABQFirefighter 11-23-2007, 11:39 PM Ya know, I was just about to snag them up and I started thinking. I went to this 'Forge-Tec' website and looked around. If I recall right, the OEM Hummer wheels won't work on our trucks with the Hummer caps, right? The H2 doesn't have the protruding hub on the rear axle like our trucks, right? Well, look at the center caps on these wheels, they are almost flush with the rim itself, no clearance for the rear hub of our trucks at all. I guess you could pop them out, but don't some guys have to bore out the center hole on the H2 wheels to fit on our trucks or am I wrong? Just my observations, I really started to like them.:(
ray4224 11-23-2007, 11:41 PM i know kmc does hummer version caps and 8lug truck style caps.
ask him if they do the same.
retento 11-24-2007, 02:25 PM Looks like a chrome manhole cover!
TRMN8R 11-24-2007, 02:30 PM :pimp: ah..........................no.
148CMEUPHI 11-24-2007, 02:47 PM Looks like a chrome manhole cover!
):hThat is awesome:rotflmao:
:thumbsdowI personally wouldn't put them on my truck but to each his own I guess.
jmac660 11-24-2007, 05:51 PM very cheesy
06Dmaxpwr 11-24-2007, 06:09 PM Not my thing but if I drove my truck in the winter....which I dont, 20 bucks would put them on my truck for sure. Its only for the winter, no one will ever know ;)
huthuthut 11-24-2007, 07:07 PM LOLL... those things look like the strainer at the bottom of the kitchen sink! :D
db9938 11-24-2007, 08:01 PM Could you imagine cleaning those?
BigRedDmax 11-24-2007, 08:11 PM I don't care for them, but who am I? But then again they would be better than trashin your nice set of wheels
redneckbuckeye 11-24-2007, 08:32 PM Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooo!
hogdoghd 11-24-2007, 11:02 PM Hell Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
RodZZilla 11-24-2007, 11:55 PM At first I thought they looked like a die for feed pellets, but I like the Sink Strainer description. For $400 for 18's and some paint, they might make some decent winter rims.
DieselDoug 11-25-2007, 05:50 PM ummmmmmmmmm NOOOOOOOOOO
RENODMAX 11-25-2007, 06:00 PM i would rather trash good wheels than spend money on those cheese graters.
