In Diesel Power mag, they show an add from flex-a-lite that claims to add (more like restore or free up) up to 27 HP and gain some mileage. When I called them, they said it was listed as not for towing. Now what sense does that make? Does their product work or not? Anybody here run one? Do you like it and more importantly...was it worth it or not?

i dont think it produces as much air to cool the engine like the standard fan does, like the electric fan produces 5,000 cfm and the stock fan produces 10,000 cfm.....that's what i was told

i would take that to assume the electric fan would not cool as well as a stock fan would when towing thereby leading to overheat situations. Ed

Im guessing itll free up 10 horsepower and not 27.
