Anybody running 35's on a 4" lift? If so, what size tires and wheel offset. I'm currently running 325-60-18 with 18x10 welds XT's on a -25mm offset and only bars cranked 1.5 inch, I did heavy trimming and spaced the bumper out .5 inches. I figure with all that, I should be good on 35's with 4 inch lift or 37's with a 6 inch. IMO, I think 35's look to small with a true 6" lift (too much wheel gap) What do you all think? Thanks.

I think 35's on a 4" kit would look -:t , especially with a 10" wheel. Why hack the crap out of your truck to stuff a larger tire in there? If you could keep them tucked in it may not look as bad.

The gaps you see are needed for suspension travel and articulation, if you fill them with too big of a tire, your tire will rub before your suspension is fully utilized.

I cant believe how many guys are stuffing the same size tire Im running with a 7" kit onto thier trucks wo a lift. But thats just my :2cents: This is what i think...
4" = 33's
6" = 35's
8" = 37's

What does the manufacturer of the lift your looking at say for suggested tire?

For me, I want the most ground clearance with the least amount of lift (or none if possible). When you bolt in a subframe for the IFS, you gain nothing other than the GC from bigger tires. I should be able to fit 315s without rubbing if I can iron out a few issues. I will still be able to fit in parking garages too. My truck gets used as a truck, and for me a lift kit is a waste of weight and money.

I personally think 35" tires and a 6" lift show way too much wheel well gap. I had 33 (325-60-18's) on a weld 18x10, -25mm offset with 1.5 crank on keys. Had very little rub. My truck never see's offroad and is my day driver. I'm looking for a lift so I can get my factory ride back. I did space my bumper out.5" and did some heavy triming too get the size tire and rim too fit. I would like too do a 4" lift and 35's or a 6" lift and 37's with a -12mm or a 0mm offset this time on the wheel and 10" wide or 9.5" widehttp://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o292/stepuptata/babypicsandother053.jpg

You can do 4" and 35's or 6" and 37's. You will have to do some trimming but it is definately do able.

Check my garage,
Major bumper trim, bushwacker cutouts, 6 inch cranked to 8" 36" tires and rubs at compression, wheels turned all the way, on the bottom of the inner fender where frame rail and firewall meet.

I don't think a 4" is ever going to clear a 35" tire completely. Not on the gm/ chev.
