Censored I hate to even ask the question, because I figure if you have a 4X4 it should be at least stock height or taller, not lowered; thats what 2wd are for! But I am just running out of options. I am soon going to have to park 3 days a week in downtown Seattle and its already hard enough to find parking, especially if you can't fit in a parking garage! So, its to the point of getting rid of the dmax, or figure out a way to make it fit! I don't think I could sell it, especially for a damn gasser car or something! So anyhow, I think if I can lower it a little bit and can fit in a garage I can make it work. So, anyone here do it, and how did you do it? I have never ever looked into lowering a truck (only lifting!) so I don't know what it involves on 4x4's. thanks!
If you do a search I know there are a couple of people that were looking into this.

I dropped the rear of mine with shackles from DJM. It dropped the back a couple inches and could've gone more. You could get some and then lower the front with the t-bars...I think...
I ended up pulling mine out...too much going on back there duals, bags, drop, titan V...something had to go...

My 04.5 gets into every parking garage in Las Vegas when I go there. Truck is stock and the garage clearances are 6' 8" and I've got a little room to spare. Radio mast clinks a few time striking a couple of the overhead structure supports. I gather from above that you are probably oversize on tires and have lifted the vehicle. Take her back to stock and you may have no problems. Can't believe any parking garage is less than 6' 8" high.

Well for starters you can remove the 3"/1" lift and the 33" tires. I think that will solve your problem all together..The answer was in your signature the whole time.... You lifted it by adding these features so just remove them and you will not have to worry...

I'm pretty sure I just fit into garages labled as 7' of clerance. This is with a 3/4" crank of the t bars 265's for tires and my lightbar(that is what really kills my clerance)
Go to stock and you should be ok

The garages around where I need to park are 6' 5" and 6' 6". I think I will need to go just a tiny bit lower than stock to clear them with the onstar antenna on the roof. Hit that thing once, don't want to do it again! But I already planned on going back to stock height at least.

2002 2500 ex-cab short box, with 265's. Stock suspension. 78.5 inches to the top of the onstar ant. Wedged a truck in a parking garage once, had to let air out of the tires to get out. Had to explain the ripples and no paint on the roof of a brand new 1 ton van to the boss. I check these things now. :o
