Thanks for the reply on my postof allison acting up. It was the NSBUswitch I replaced it today and changed the spin on filter and everything is perfect again. Anybody out there with the old style NSBU switch still on thier truck should do yourself a favor and order one and get it done. Mine almost left me walking yesterday also I think I'm going to start changing the spin on filter at 10,000 miles because of the crud I found on the magnet- cheap insurance. Also don't be going to no dealer for the nsbu switch my dealer wanted $168.00 for it and I got it from my local allison repair shop for $45.00 now I know why you guys call them STEALER'S Thanks again

Many are changing there spin on filter at less than 10k. You might check with Dmax on this.

I change my spin on every 5K miles..................it may excessive but it is cheap insurance considering the beating my trans goes through.

I think (I read) one is black. One is a tan or beige colour. Which one is which, I have no clue.

Sorry its not much help......

Black is the "old" switch, brown/beige is the "new" switch.
