I recently ordered my truck and ordered the chrome side steps. However, I have noticed that the factory side steps have only one long place for people to put their feet when climbing in. I like the look of the side steps that have two seperate places for front passengers and rear passengers. Who makes the best quality of the side steps in the style I am looking for. Thanks.

What ones you pick is a personal preference but I choose Nasta Bars for my truck due to have polished SS tube and all mounting hardware was 304 SS vice Carbon Steel and a bi-metallic weld that is prone to Chloride stress corrsion cracking. That's kind of important to me living in the snow belt.
My original choice was Westin Chrome, but all the dealers in this area would not recommend them due to chrome flaking in salt environment.
My dealer is also an aftermarket parts dealer and I got the Nasta's through them. They also carried some Al. GM Performance oval tubes that were pretty trick.

I think Putco's look nice. I wish that's what I had gotten except I didn't know about them then. Especially on a dually.

I put a pair of Luverne Stainless Steel on mine two weeks ago. They don't flex whatsoever and I am about 230 and they look real good. I installed then in less than 30 minutes.

I ran N-Fab bars on my last truck and I have a new set coming for this truck. I was not able to take the others off and I wish I had done so.. Here is a pick of what they looked like...

Don't think Trippin has posted on this topic but if you were talking to me, I ordered mine directly from N-fab.. Just call them or check them out online. www.N-fab.com (http://www.N-fab.com)
