stupid question, but if you use too much additive by mistake could it cause problems..smoke? I purchased another bottle of additive last night and added to my fill up, but noticed that it treats 100 gallons and for some reason I remember it saying it treated 50 gallons the first time I started to use it.

So, this means that I may have put in half the container when I only am supposed to put in a 4th of it..

just wondering if this may be my smoke problem since it kind of started about the same time..

thanks
B.

I don't think so. I was told to be generous w/it. What kind of smoke problems are you having?

thanks..just the white smoke that everyone is talking about.. could just be bad injectors, but since I started the additive at basically the same time I was curious... hmmm

I run Cetane 8+ and Total Power each tank......

I run 1~1/2 to 2 times the recommended dosage of each........I think you will be fine.

You could add a couple of gallons each day and dilute the ratio if you are that concerned. I added too much the first time as well, just gave the exhaust a different smell, truck ran fine. JJ

Braino .... The product may be in different concentrations depending on the size of the bottles you bought. Stanadyne Performance Formula Junior has half the concentration in the 8 oz bottles vs the larger bottles. They do this for so the 8 oz "One Shot" bottles treat one tank of fuel on the average size tank. The 8 oz bottle of the Lubricity Formula is 1/4 the concentration of the larger bottles and the concentration of the regular Performance Formula is the same for all the size bottles. Be sure and read the label on each size bottle.
