Cindy, is this something that would be warranty? I would try and replace the USB cable first, but if it didn't work, then what?

I am not sure of the exact purchase date of that unit by that buyer but if the unit is faulty at the USB end, all you will need to pay for is postage to / from NZ to have it fixed, it will be covered under warranty. I would presume they would have already tried another USB lead (It's just a standard USB lead).

I know this customer had troubles, but the last correspondence I had with him back in July he said "Yes, it appears to be working great."
I'm not sure what has happened since then, I've not heard a thing from them about it. Though, he may have been dealing with the reseller he purchased it through.

Either way, I guess he has decided to move on, if you got it for that price you have done well with all the licenses on it. Just confirm with the seller, of the 25 licenses how many are left, it sounds like all of them might be.

But you can't transfer the licenses to other V2's... How are you gona sell the licenses?

Unless you plan on selling tunes, then you would still need to keep it in case you needed to update the tunes...

Are you sure he purchased 23 more licenses for this V2? I asked for a screen shot but since it won't power up, he can't show me anything.

He said he used 3 licenses, 22 left. From the looks of it we are all skeptical. I would like to have that unit but........

the guy selling it is lyndon wester...wester's programming...well known for gassers...doubt they will screw you...im pretty sure he is a member on on...programmer is his name i think...

Well he's also selling a chassis dyno so perhaps he had plans for 25 licences and the Canadian money to get them.

Like KB said the licenses are locked to the V2 - you can't seperate them and on sell them seperately.

Lyndons dumb - had the auction at $1150 the whole week then last night dropped it low with a reserve. I would have pulled the trigger at $1150 but he dropped it and auction just ended at $805 reserve not met.

I wonder if he knew how many people were watching that auction waiting to bid at the last minute.

That 805 was mine..HaHa.. hence the Akita in my garage!

It's back the bid is $102.50 I would pay that for it.
