Ok I bought the MP-8 for my truck, and I was wondering if you don't do the shim mod for the fuel pressure relief valve then will the truck go into limp mode from overfueling. I was just curious b/c one of my buddies told me it would. And what does the truck act like when it goes into limp mode?

Some trucks limp more than others, it may or may not. When you limp the
fuel rail it will limit your rpms to 2000 max . If you pull over and turn the
truck off for about 3-4 minutes it will reset and continue until you limp it
again. Get the shim mod and be done with it.

I have the mp-8. I took my shim kit "Out." It limps a lot more with the shim kit in on my truck. I also have a fuel racing valve from ppe. I took it out after the first day. I could only get to about 25mph and the truck would limp everytime. But since you have a limp pump it might not be bad for you. I dont quite have one yet so that can play a major part in it. Goodluck!!!
