: Emissions Label Question?

I recently "circumvented" the EGR on my LLY truck. I know many of you guys have said it did not set any codes on your trucks. Mine immediately set the EGR slew of codes. That got me a bit curious so I figured a quick check of the emissions label might have more info. Here is mine:

Now this is a Georgia ordered truck but the label says this vehicle meets California emissions. Are all the LLY trucks capable of doing so? Is there no difference between Federal emissions and California emissions like on the LB7 motors?

Does the 3500 SRW get a different label?

Post some pics of your label, maybe we can figure this out.

Did it set the SES light? I think it sets code on all the trucks but only lights on Cali trucks.

Lit it up like a Christmas tree. I know in the past you could order Cali emissions on any GM vehicle if you wanted to, I don't know if that is still true or not. I don't know why a Georgia truck would have Cali emissions otherwise.

I remember reading that their were a few states that follow cali's emmision standards. Perhaps Georgia is one.

From what I recall and doing some google searches, Georgia does not follow Cali standards unless I just could not find the right info. Who knows, that is why I figured if everyone snapped some photos of their labels we might have better information to go on.
