Max, I have searched and searched and have found absoultely nothing. I am trying to get this done so that my truck doesn't go through a tank of fuel in a day. I have not gone as far as tearing the whole engine apart and hope not to, but if that is what is involved then I guess I will have to.

Pictures would be very helpful or links as to where i can see what people are talking about with the EGR valve locationl.

Here is the thread you need:

http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12715

The EGR is controlled via a stepper motor and the gasses are cooled via a cylindrical cooler on the passenger side of the engine on the top of the intake manifold just below and slightly behind your air intake tract tubing. There is a tube coming from the exhaust into the back of the cylinder (the cylinder is the EGR cooler) and this is where the plate goes to block the flow of exhaust gasses.

That should be enough info for you to find it, if not you are just gonna have to break down and read the thread I posted.
