I have the latest update 7.5xxx version running, I tried to perform a full reflash on one of the trucks I program this morning
The screen would go through all the motions, then say reflash was complete, even though it had not taken more than 20 seconds from start to finish. After the 15 second countdown was completed I got the following error message
"Cannot create file c:\programfiles\efilive\v7\configuration\pcmlocks. ini. Access denied"
Anyone???

Cobra, I have forwarded this on to Paul and Andrew. It's 12 noon Sunday in NZ so response time will be dependant on if one of the boys are around.
Cheers

Thanks, didnt have any effect on the old tunes, so no problem.
Oh just some other info the program in the truck was already DSP5, I was just upgrading them. Also it would run through the test run properly, including the normal time it takes to load a full OS of 4 min or whatever it is.
The just doing a partial reflash would also work normally.
In the afternoon I did a DSP5 full upgrade on an LLY and it worked normally.
This is all a Windows Vista laptop.

Vista was not allowing EFILive to write to the hard drive. Try it again, only this time when launching the EFILive Tuning tool, right click and select "run as administrator".

I posted over on the efilive forum, I loaded a DSP5 on a LLY with full flash and it worked fine.
I will try the as admin next time and what paul suggested
Thanks for the help everyone
